Meet the fleet.
Here at Croxteth Park Miniature Railway we have a huge selection of Loco's that run weekends and during school holidays and Bank Holidays from March until the end of October. ( Unless other events specified )

Dash
This small battery operated loco packs a punch and has many hidden surprises. She can pull 2 fully loaded carriages with ease and has lots of power spare. Dash also has air brakes fitted which for such a small engine its quite a rare find.

Crocky Rocket
This is the peoples loco as the name came from a competition winner.
This loco is a battery electric loco running on 24v motors. She is very powerful and has a horn to match.

Bluebell
Bluebell is our main loco at the railway an is a run by a petrol- hydrostat. She has plenty of power and can be seen running most weekends.

Red Dragon.
Red Dragon is a petrol locomotive with a 9hp engine. Capable of pulling full trains of passengers an she is a joy to drive.

Mr B
Mr B is a private project Loco that will be seen pulling coaches in early 2027. This will be a 24v battery Loco and consist of 2 750w motors.

Dorothy
Formerly known as Tom, This pertrol loco is known to many of the team as it originated at High Legh Miniature Railway in Cheshire where some of the team have volunteered in the past. Great loco to drive.

King Arthur
King Arthur is the biggest and most powerful loco in the fleet. He is powered by a large petrol engine that gives us all the power we need to pull full trains of passengers.

Sir Ian
This is our Intercity loco which runs on a 24v system.

Project Green
Project Green is a loco privately owned by 2 members of the railway. Once this loco is completed she will be our all weather loco jam packed with technology. This will be a 24v electric loco with a powerful electric motor. Updates on the build can be seen on our facebook page.

Tom
Tom has a small petrol engine which can hold its own an pull fully loaded coaches. He is a joy to drive around our little railway.

Sophie
Sophie is a privately owned GWR Battery Steam outline loco. She can be seen running on special occasions.
